  • Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)
    Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our friendly guide, who will assist with your transfer to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital.

  • Explore Colombo
    After checking into your hotel, you can explore the vibrant city of Colombo. Visit Galle Face Green, the National Museum, or the Gangaramaya Temple. Colombo offers a great mix of cultural landmarks, modern shops, and colonial architecture.

  • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Colombo, enjoying the lively atmosphere of the city.

    • Morning: After breakfast, depart for Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will stay for the next two nights. The drive from Colombo to Sigiriya takes around 4 hours.

    • Explore Sigiriya
      Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient royal palace that sits atop a massive rock. The climb to the top offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s ancient royal history. On the way up, you’ll pass by colorful frescoes, the remains of the palace, and the famous Lion’s Gate.

    • Sigiriya Village Tour
      In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan village experience. Take a walk through a local village, visit a farm, and have lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients. You can also enjoy a traditional bullock cart ride or boat ride on the village lake.

    • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Sigiriya.

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive to Polonnaruwa, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka, and check into your hotel.

  • Explore Polonnaruwa
    Spend the day exploring the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, which includes impressive ruins such as the Gal Vihara (rock temple with massive Buddha statues), Royal Palace, Vatadage (circular relic house), and other historical sites. Polonnaruwa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an exceptional collection of ancient structures and archaeological treasures.

  • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Polonnaruwa.

    • Morning: After breakfast, head to Minneriya National Park, known for its large population of wild elephants. The park is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see herds of elephants, especially during the Minneriya Tank dry season when elephants gather around the waterholes.

    • Minneriya Safari
      Embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, where you can witness the majestic elephants in their natural habitat, along with other wildlife such as deer, buffalo, and numerous bird species.

    • Afternoon: Return to Polonnaruwa for the evening and relax at your hotel.

    • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Polonnaruwa.

  • Morning: After breakfast, depart for Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. The drive takes around 2-3 hours.

  • Arrival in Anuradhapura
    Check into your hotel and relax. You may explore the surroundings or take a brief tour of the nearby sites.

  • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Anuradhapura.

    • Explore Anuradhapura
      Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred Buddhist cities in Sri Lanka. Visit the Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, said to be the oldest historically documented tree in the world, the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Isurumuniya Temple, and the Abhayagiri Monastery. You can also explore the Tissa Wewa and Kuttam Pokuna (Twin Ponds).

    • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Anuradhapura.

      • Morning: After breakfast, depart for Kalpitiya, a coastal town known for its stunning beaches and tranquil atmosphere. The drive takes around 4-5 hours.

      • Relax at Kalpitiya
        Once you arrive in Kalpitiya, check into your hotel and spend the day relaxing. You can enjoy the beautiful beaches, take a boat ride, or visit the Kalpitiya Lagoon. The region is also known for dolphin watching, and you may have the opportunity to see these playful creatures in the wild.

        • Leisure Day at Kalpitiya
          Spend your day at leisure, enjoying the tranquil surroundings of Kalpitiya. You can engage in activities such as dolphin watching, snorkeling, kite surfing, or simply unwind by the beach.

        • Accommodation: Stay overnight in Kalpitiya.

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Kalpitiya and begin your drive back to Colombo or directly to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.

  • Departure: Transfer to Colombo International Airport for your flight back home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage, wildlife, and stunning beaches.
